ok people i’m gonna give you the recipe for my famous taco pie but i’ll ask you to guard it with your life.

    for the pastry - 140g white flour, 100g butter/margarine, 2 tbsp water
mix flour & butter, add water let dough sit in fridge for awhile, put dough into pyrex dish press it out all round the dish. bake in oven 225oc for 10 mins until golden brown

for the filling - 400g minced beef, 1 pk of taco spices, 150ml water, 1 jar of chillies, 1 container of creme fraiche, 3 tomatoes (sliced), 350g cheese (grated), paprika powder

brown mince, add taco spices & water, stir and let cook on a low heat until water is reduced. add chillies, put mince mix into the pyrex. add some paprika to the creme fraiche and spread it over the mince, put the tomatoes on top and spread the cheese on top. put back into the oven until the cheese has melted and turned golden brown

i usually serve with a salad as it helps cool the spicy taco. enjoy !!
