Here I am again. Got loads to do this morning, mopping floors (yet again) washing, ironing hoovering… the usual rubbish… and Im trying to find anything to do other than the aforementioned lol.

One thing I am certain of is that I need to keep busy. This is my 14th day of not inhaling nicotine into my body (although I admit Ive lit a few and watched them burn out… why, I have no idea) and I gotta say I dont feel any different lol. My chest is still tight, but Im suspecting thats due to the chest infection I had last week, still got the snots and I still look like death warmed up… but hey at least I’m not running around like a woman with severe PMT and a knife fetish! Im not craving cigarettes like I thought I would, but Im looking for things to do with my hands, hence me typing away on my keyboard right now.

Ive also developed a taste for milky coffee and boiled sweets. This time next year Im gonna have healthy lungs but will be 35 stone!!

Now the run up to Christmas is upon us, we’re all making lists and going into panic mode because we havent got this yet and havent visited Great Aunt Enid since the Spring. You know what…. for the first time ever Im thinking sod the lot of it. Cant be bothered with any of it. Its not like we get visitors and not like we get invited anywhere. Christmas day here will be a day of two halves. The morning putting together half of Toys R Us and then looking at stupid diagrams trying to work out where that sticker of a food blender goes on Berry’s new dolls house and the afternoon arguing over whose doing the washing up and making a buffet (like we really need one) for Joe’s birthday “tea”. Sometimes I feel really sorry for him, being born on Christmas Day, and then I snap out of it and think that its his own fault for coming 3 weeks early. At least Berry (who was due Christmas Day) had the sense to make an appearance a week early!!

Wonder what delights I will get from Santa this year. Ive dropped enough hints. Id so love a wedding ring or even better the engagement or eternity rings Ive been waiting 16 years for! I lost me wedding ring about 10 years ago and it never got replaced…. well, it did, sort of, but it was the wrong size and due to the pattern the jeweller was unable to alter it, and Ive never had the other rings. His Lordship says the idea of an eternity ring is that you have to wait one to get one and I can forget the engagement ring because we arent engaged!

I’ll probably end up with a pair of slippers, a couple of t -shirts and a diary… which would be good coz I really need the diary! Im not the worlds most organised person and I have a terrible memory when it comes to arrangements and appointments. Tell me ya birthday and I will remember it forever…. tell me I gotta be somewhere on Thursday at 4pm and you can forget it…. coz I bloody will!!!

My mission for the next few days is to wangle an invite to a party on New Years Eve. I really do not want to spend yet another night sitting in watching the tv, and getting the hump with His Lordship coz he fell asleep at 10.30!

Speaking of invites, FOUR Christmas plays I have to go watch in the next two weeks…. FOUR!!!!! Omg please save me! In the last 10 years Ive had to sit through Josh being a “singing donkey” and reduced the whole audience to tears… some found it moving, I just wanted to hide under the stairs. Ive watched Joe be a talking horse with a big hole in his trousers and spent half an hour trying to remind him to close his legs, Berry was the Virgin Mary last year and spent 10 minutes slapping Baby Jesus’ back side and then threw him in a cardboard box (manger) when he refused to cry, and Ive watched Alfie as one of the Wise Men…. who got his directions wrong and went west instead! Think Id rather go queue up in Argos for 3 hours to be told the item I reserved is now out of stock!! (dont laugh… its not as impossible as you might think!)

Right, spose I better get these floors mopped or I wont get it all done before I start in silver later! Have fun me dears, cya tonight xx
