Your Alias is the name that you choose to be seen as by other players in the bingo rooms and chat rooms, so pick something you like! For security reasons we recommend that you do not use your Paddy Power Bingo account username as your bingo Alias.

Having an Alias is a pre-requisite for any bingo game. Once you have registered for a paddypower.com account (whether you are a new customer or have an existing account), and you click Play on Paddy Power Bingo, you will be prompted to create your Alias before you can continue to play Bingo, if you have not yet done so. Note that you must accept the Player Terms and Conditions before you can complete this process.

Once you have completed the account registration and Alias creation steps, and have deposited funds into your account, just click the Play Bingo button to bring you to the bingo lobby and select the bingo game you wish to play by clicking its corresponding Play button.
  • Are there any restrictions on me playing?
It is your responsibility to ensure that at all times you comply with all laws in any jurisdiction that apply to your use of our services. In particular, if you live in a country where betting is prohibited, you must not register with us or attempt to use our services. Internet or telephone gambling may be illegal in the jurisdiction in which you are located; if so, you are not authorised to use your payment card to undertake transactions.
  • What is the sign up bonus?

The £/€5 stake must be on our Bingo games in order to qualify for the bonus and the £/€20 bonus may only be used on Bingo games, therefore does not include use on Side games. There is one exception to this, that it may be used on Challenge Roulette. Your free £/€20 will be available for 30 days from date of crediting and removed from your account if not used within this time period.

  • Playing Bingo
  • I've never played this before: what is Bingo? Where did it come from?
Bingo has a long history, originating as an Italian lottery game in the 1530's and undergoing various changes in a journey through Europe and the Americas to become the Bingo we know and love today. In this more modern game, which is still a kind of lottery, players gather together in Bingo rooms and purchase one or more tickets (cards) which are divided into numbered and blank squares. Bingo balls displaying numbers between 1 and either 75, 80 or 90 are selected at random. As the caller announces the players mark them off wherever they appear on their tickets, using a special pen called a dauber. Then, BINGO! The winner is the first person to mark off all the numbers on one ticket.
  • Bingo is played in a bingo hall! How on earth can I play online?
At Paddy Power Bingo the main difference to the traditional game is that you can join a game, from the comfort of your own home, whenever you want: they run 24-7 and new games start every few minutes. You can also choose between different bingo rooms and catch up with friends in the chat rooms or play a range of other games during the Bingo breaks.

To play, you just need to log in, have adequate funds in your account and buy at least one ticket.
  • Tell me about the different types of bingo games. What is 75, 80, & 90 Ball Bingo?

90-Ball Bingo uses balls numbered 1-90 and the tickets are arranged in three rows with nine columns: the five numbers presented on each row must be called and daubed to win a Full House (FH) - and the jackpot if it is a jackpot game!

75-Ball Pattern Bingo uses balls numbered 1-75 and the tickets are arranged in five rows with five columns. To win a 75-ball game you must daub the numbers that represent the winning pattern in the game.

75-Ball UK Bingo is simlar to 75 Ball Pattern Bingo with the same ticket layout and number of balls. There are five prizes available for this game. First is the one line across, then any two lines etc and finally the ‘Coverall’ which is all 25 numbers marked off the ticket. A free square is available in the middle of the ticket.

80-Ball Bingo is a varient of bingo available in different game types. These include any line, four corners, four middle squares, full house, four columns etc.

90-Ball Speed Bingo is a faster variant of 90-Ball bingo which lasts approximately one minute. The balls are called at a rate of one per second, and the win animations have also been shortened.

Deal or No Deal bingo is a new variant we now offer. The initial bingo game is the same as standard 90-Ball bingo, but certain balls are allocated a Deal or No Deal box and a prize amount. The full house winner then gets to play the Deal or No Deal side game, where the Banker will offer the winner an amount for their box. The player can choose to either take the bankers offer, or choose the mystery amount they have in front of them.

  • How do I win? and how are the prizes calculated?

For 90 Ball Bingo there are up to 4 different ways to win a prize, depending on the game played. A 90-ball game has between one and 3 parts. A ‘1 line’ prize is won the first time all five numbers on a horizontal line are called and daubed. Similarly the ‘2 lines’ prize is won the first time all numbers on any 2 horizontal lines are called and daubed. The ‘Full House’ prize is won the first time all the numbers are called and daubed on a ticket on all three lines.

In "pari-mutuel" games, the value of the prizes will be a proportion of total funds generated by the tickets sold for that game. See the Bingo Schedule page for details. These often have a minimum prize, so even when few people are playing, you can still win a tidy little sum. When many people are playing the prizes will exceed the minimum prizes in some cases and will increase beyond the minimum depending on the total funds generated by the tickets sold. Generally, for 3 part games (1 line, 2 lines and full house prizes) the Full House prize will grow bigger than the 1 line and 2 lines.
For Example: For a game with minimum prizes on a 3 part game of £5 for 1 line, £10 for 2 lines and £15 for a Full house. If the total funds generated by the tickets sold was £20 the prizes would be the minimum amounts above. If the total funds generated by tickets sold was £100 the prizes could be e.g. £10 for 1 line, £20 for 2 lines and £40 for the Full House. The remaining £30 is divided into jackpot contributions and house takings.

Fair for All games are bingo games with a fixed price, and set number of tickets, so that each player has exactly the same chance of winning. Fair for All games often get extra points in associated tournaments, such as the Champion’s League.

Progressive jackpots (PJP) games are the exciting games with BIG winnings! A proportion of the funds generated from ticket sales in associated jackpot games are pooled into an overall jackpot fund. This means that the Progressive jackpot prize fund grows and grows until it is won. Any game contributing to the PJP is eligible to produce the jackpot winner, who wins the associated game part by the specified call number for that jackpot. This winner will win both the jackpot and the game's Full House prize.

  • More importantly, how much can I win?
This depends on the game type, whether you win a line, a full house or the huge progressive jackpot. Refer to the Bingo Schedule page for details of current minimum full house prizes. You can view all prizes for the games on the bingo client itself. The details of the jackpot including the call number is also available there.
  • How do I buy my tickets?

Tickets are bought within the bingo room. You can select tickets individually, by strip, by the preset number below the slider, or the slider bar ‘ticket selector’ for multiple ticket purchases. To purchase the tickets you have selected click the Confirm button, or double-click the ticket to deselect. If you don’t like the tickets that you see you can change them by clicking on them individually. Selected and purchased tickets are colour coded. Only the tickets purchased by you will be displayed once the game begins.

You can buy as many tickets as you like up to a maximum number of tickets which is set depending on the type of game being played.

you can also pre-order tickets for games to be played in the future. You can click on the Bulkbuy button on the ticket purchaser to buy tickets up to a week in advance. You can also do this via the Schedule page or in the bingo rooms by clicking Schedule up the top of the room. You can also check which games you have pre-ordered tickets for in the Schedule page in the room, by clicking the My Tickets button.

  • How much will it cost me to play a game?
You can buy a bingo ticket for as little as 1p, depending on the room and game you choose. For other games, you can play from as little as 5p. We even now have the occasional free game! For full details on these you should check in the games lobby.
  • I've bought my tickets, how will I know when I've won?

The numbers called are shown on the top right hand side of the bingo window. The last number called out is displayed on the top of the screen, and the previous six numbers are displayed to the underneath this. All numbers called since the beginning of the current game can be viewed in the number grid, which is displayed by placing your cursor over the balls being called. You can view this permanently by clicking on the arrow below the numbers being called. Numbers displayed on your tickets which have already been called out will be daubed automatically, so don't worry if you lose track for a while!

If you win a big ‘Winners’ message will appear on your screen displaying your alias and telling you whether you've won a line, two lines or the Full House. Equally, if another player wins in your game, you will see this with details of their win. In the mean time, your tickets are ordered in the screen so that those closest to winning a line appear first, and are colour coded according to the number of numbers you have yet to get to complete the next prize.

  • How many people will I be playing with? And can I chat to them?
The amount of players you'll be playing with will be displayed in the bingo room in the PLAYERS field. And of course you can chat with them. That is what the chatrooms are there for!
  • What is a bingo bonus?
A bingo bonus (or BB) is an amount of funds awarded to your account for use within Paddy Power Bingo. These might be awarded as sign-up or loyalty gifts, or prizes for chat room games. You can use them to play on any game of bingo. When you have a balance of both bonuses and real cash, if you buy tickets the funds for the tickets will come from your bingo bonus balance before they come from your real cash balance. This is the opposite of most bingo sites out there... We aim to please our Roomies  :)
  • What about freebies? What are you offering?
We're always running promotions - from free ticket offers to bingo bonuses. The best thing to do is to check out the Promotions page to see our current offers!
  • What's a progressive jackpot and how do I win it?
On jackpot games a proportion of the funds generated from ticket sales for the PJP games are pooled into an overall jackpot. This means that the progressive jackpot grows and grows until it is won. To win the jackpot in a progressive jackpot game (PJP), you must win the Full House by the call specified in the PJP Call display. E.g. if the PJP call is 43 and my ticket wins me a full house on the 40th call - I'm the jackpot winner! If this happens on the 44th call, I just win the full house prize for that game.
  • How do I know that the game is fair?
All our games are externally tested and verified by independent companies and regulated by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. Central to the games engine is the Random Number Generator (RNG) which is similarly tested and regulated and is the very best made available to the industry today.
  • Is it legal for me to play bingo online at paddypowerbingo.com?

If you are having any trouble adding or changing a card you can contact Gaming Support who will be happy to assist you.
  • I've forgotten my alias or password, what should I do?
If you have forgotten your password, please click Lost Password to bring up a popup window displaying the lost password screen. Once here, you will be asked for your username and email address. After you have entered these, you will be emailed instructions on how to reset your password.
If you are having difficulty remembering your Log-in details you can contact our friendly Gaming Support team who will be happy to assist you.
  • How can I find the details of a game that I’ve played?

If you click on the ‘Account History’ item in the Manage Account section of the My Account menu, you can search for the details of games that you have played for a specified date/time range.

You can also log into any bingo room, click Account and Bet History to view all the games you have played and bought tickets for.

  • How can I find details of tickets that I have pre-ordered?
You can search for all the tickets that you have pre-ordered by logging into any bingo room, clicking on ‘Schedule’ and then ‘My Tickets’.
  • Can I set deposit limits on my account?

  • Is there a Loyalty Scheme?

Yes!  We relaunched our loyalty scheme in June 2011 - Paddy's Star Rewards.

  • What is Paddy’s Star Rewards?

Paddy’s Star Rewards is our new rewards scheme where you can earn Star Points by playing Bingo and selected Side Games.  These Star Points can be exchanged for bonus funds and will move you up the Star Rewards Levels to earn additional Star Privileges.

  • How do I join Paddy’s Star Rewards?

All Paddy Power Bingo players are automatically enrolled in the Paddy’s Star Rewards scheme at White Level, and start earning Star Points towards the next level straight away.

  • How can I view my Star Rewards progress?

There are two ways to check your Star Rewards Level and Star Points Balance:

    1. Log in to the Paddy Power Bingo website and click on the “Star Rewards” tab in the left-hand menu.  You will be able to see your current Star Rewards Level as well as your redeemable Star Points balance
    2. Click on “Account” at the top of the Paddy Power Bingo lobby and select “Star Rewards” in the dropdown to be taken to a Star Rewards overview screen.
  • How do I earn Star Points?

You can earn Star Points by playing on Bingo and Bingo Side Games. The amount of Star Points that you earn will vary depending on the type of game you are playing (Bingo is worth the most!) and your current Star Level.

See the Star Rewards section of the Paddy Power website for a full breakdown.

  • What can I do with my Star Points?

Visit the Star Rewards area of your account within the bingo client to exchange your Star Points for Bingo Bonuses or Games Bonuses.  500 Star Points = £/€0.50 Bonus.

Don't worry - redeeming Star Points has no effect on your progress through the Star Rewards Levels.

  • What are Star Privileges?

A range of additional Star Privileges are available to all players on top of the redemption of Star Points for bonuses.  These range from monthly free bingo rooms to Birthday Bonuses, Christmas Bonuses, and VIP hospitality events!

See the Star Rewards section of the Paddy Power website for a full breakdown.

  • How did you work out my launch Star Rewards Level?

Paddy’s Star Rewards launched on Tuesday June 7th and existing Paddy Power Bingo players were placed into starting Star Rewards Levels based on their previous play.

The boffins at Paddy Power HQ worked long and hard to ensure these starting levels were as fair as possible based on previous activity at Paddy Power Bingo.  The number crunching was intense and their lack of sleep has made them grumpy so we don’t want to argue with them!

  • How do I get an invite to the Supernova Level?

Gold Star Level is as high as you can go from Star Points earnings alone, but there is a whole new world awaiting those lucky enough to be invited to Supernova Level.

Players are hand picked for entry to Supernova, with invites being based on account seniority, deposit, and wagering levels.  Make sure your account is set to receive communications so we can let you know if you’ve made the grade!

  • Will I ever lose my Star Rewards level?

No – Paddy’s Star Rewards is designed to fairly reward longterm loyalty and so once earned you will never lose your new Star Rewards Level.  However in order to continue receiving your Star Privileges you will be required to play at least once each month, but that shouldn’t be too hard!

  • Do Star Points expire?

Your Star Points will remain untouched as long as you continue to come back and see us occasionally!

If you don’t play at all for two consecutive months then your points will be automatically redeemed for a Bingo Bonus according to the usual redemption rate (500 Star Points = £/€0.50BB).  This bonus will expire after one month but we will make sure we remind you it is there to be played with.

  • Security
  • How do I know the site is secure?
    Encryption
A key area of online security is encryption using the SSL mechanism, that is to say that information you provide us with is encrypted so that it cannot be read across the Internet. 128-bit SSL Encryption is used on all pages of our payment system.

    Firewalls
Another key measure of online security is the Firewall. This sits between the Paddypower.com Web server and the Internet, providing further protection against non-authorised access. Access to the server is strictly controlled by the firewall, ensuring maximum protection for the website.

    The Padlock
Each screen that transfers any log-in, password or credit card details will include the padlock symbol in the bottom right hand side of the page to indicate that you are in a secure area and that information you transmit is encrypted.

    Security
If you are logged into your account for some time without using it the system will automatically log you out for security reasons.

    Credit Card Verification
Once we receive your Card details we carry out a check of your Card with our credit card checking facility. This ensures the number you entered actually corresponds to a real credit card number and is not one that has been made up. We also do random security checks on a continuous basis to ensure that no fraudulent use is being made of a Card. This verification of your details is carried out over a secure line to the bank. Card data is, at no time, sent over the Internet during the validation process nor does the bank give out any details to us over the phone, we simply state what information we have and they will let us know if it is correct or not.Incorrect details associated with your card will result in your account being suspended for security reasons.
  • Will my personal details be kept safe?
Paddypower.com recognise that online security is an area of vital importance for all our clients. It is imperative that you should be fully satisfied that your personal details are 100% secure, and this is in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Throughout paddypower.com we have implemented a number of security features for this purpose, including: Encryption, Firewalls, The Padlock, and Credit Card Verification.
