Bieber Baby Fever Continues

Mariah Yeater, the 20-year-old who has claimed Justin Bieber is the father of her baby, has revealed she has evidence to back up her paternity suit. In her first TV interview since the story broke, Mariah told The Insider that she has proof that Bieber fathered her four-month-old son. Tristyn was born in July this year and Mariah has filed a paternity suit that names Justin as the father. Her legal team is reportedly seeking £170k in child support. Mariah claims the pair had 30 seconds of unprotected sex in a VIP bathroom at the Staples Center in LA following a concert in October 2010. Furthermore, she revealed that Justin went from being ‘cute and gushy’ to ‘more aggressive’ during their bathroom tryst. Dressed demurely in white shirt, pink cardigan and with a face free from makeup, Mariah claimed she couldn’t discuss the evidence to support her claims on camera but she did say that she’d provided her attorney with the details. She revealed: ‘It’ll show in court to prove that my allegations are true.’

Upon hearing that a security guard claimed the singer was in his dressing room with friends and family at the time the alleged tryst took place, Mariah looked upset and refused to comment.
Justin denies Mariah’s claims and has confirmed that he will take legal action against her. He has also reportedly agreed to take part in a paternity test when he returns from the MTV EMA’s to prove that he is not Tristyn’s dad. It’s not just Mariah’s claims that have caused drama in camp Bieber recently. Justin’s girlfriend Selena Gomez has won a restraining order over her 46-year-old alleged stalker and his ex Caitlin Beadles has received death threats.

Naughty Boy Frankie!

Loose lips sink ships! Frankie Cocozza would have done well to remember that old piece of advice. The X Factor hopeful was a bit too forthcoming about details of his social life and has now been booted out of the competition. He was given his marching orders on Tuesday morning after being told he’d ‘broken a golden rule’ which was soon revealed to revolve around drug use.
According to reports on The Daily Mail site, sources claim that Frankie was ‘off his face’ during Sunday night’s results show after only getting 30 minutes’ sleep following a night of serious partying. Claims that he boasted about ‘cocaine fuelled sex sessions’ led to Frankie being papped leaving the Hertfordshire mansion last night (Tue 8th Nov).

Frankie has released a statement that stated his off-stage behaviour had ‘over-stepped the rules of the competition.’ The statement also included an apology to Gary and the other X Factor hopefuls: ‘I’d like to apologise to Gary, my fellow contestants and everyone who has voted for me, but, as of today, I will no longer be in The X Factor. I no longer deserve my place in the show, so I am therefore leaving. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me.’ Despite a shaky start and wobbly vocals, the 18-year-old seemed to be winning over the judges and the general public. He was dubbed a ‘cheeky chappie’ and likened to Robbie Williams. Gary chose him over Joe Cox for the boys category and now has unfortunately lost one of his acts.

It’s been a rollercoaster week for Frankie, who generated over 100 viewer complaints after swearing on stage and prompted Ofcom to start an investigation into his bad boy antics.
Following his departure from the house, Frankie has also apparently been edited out of an M&S Christmas advert featuring the final 12 X Factor hopefuls.

I'm a Celebrity 2011: Latest News

It’s hard to believe that I’m a Celebrity is to return to ITV1 next month. Between X Factor and Big Brother, 2011 has turned into a right reality TV fest! ITV has just announced that ex-MTV host Laura Whitmore will take over from Caroline Flack on the ITV2 spin-off show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now!

Caroline departed earlier in the year to host X Factor spin-off Xtra Factor with Olly Murs. Laura will appear alongside current hosts Russell Kane and Joe Swash when the show returns in November.

Laura commented: I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the ‘I’m A Celebrity family. I can’t wait to get stuck into jungle life, though I will try my best to avoid all those creepy crawlies. I’m really looking forward to getting into all sorts of mischief with former king of the jungle Joe Swash and funny man Russell Kane. The excitement level is officially off the scale!’

As per usual, show producers and bosses are being tight-lipped regarding the celebrity line-up and bush tucker trials.

However, Ant and Dec have said they’d like to see Simon Cowell in the jungle, along with Ryan Giggs and Peter Stringfellow – if he had the balls. Their words! Jedward have reportedly been lined up to appear on this year’s show, as has Big Brother star Imogen Thomas.

However, Dannii Minogue is reportedly top of the producers’ wish list for the show along with boyfriend Kris Smith, who was reportedly offered £250k to join the jungle lineup. He has allegedly turned the offer down. Other names linked to the show include Aaron Carter, a former child star who has in the past been romantically linked with Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff and had a stint in rehab. Dollar singer Thereza Bazar has also been mentioned.

Strictly Business?

It’s all about Strictly this week! The BBC1 show is trumping ITV rival The X Factor in terms of viewing figures and off screen gossip. The X Factor has reportedly lost 2million viewers and is currently being beaten in the ratings by its BBC rival.

However, with both shows it’s proved to be the judges and dancers who have attracted the most attention so far, not the contestants. The latest Strictly story to hit the headlines revolves around former contestant Kara Tointon and professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev. They met and fell head over heels when they were paired together last year and have recently moved into a new pad.

According the Daily Mail, all is not currently well in paradise. Kara apparently admitted that she would find it weird to watch Artem dancing with someone else in this year’s Strictly. If the rumours are true, her misgivings have turned into jealousy and have ‘caused nothing but rows.’ According to the paper, Artem moved out of the flat he shares with Kara and went to stay with fellow Strictly dancer Robin Windsor. The latest is that he’s come back and the pair are attempting to ‘be civil to each other.’

Apparently the steamy Chicago-style tango routine Artem performed with Holly Valance was the straw that broke the camel’s back. A source told The Sun:

‘They’ve been having a terrible time together and decided they need some space. Artem left their new home and skulked off to Robin’s. The stress of the show has been getting to Artem as it’s a tough gig with numerous rehearsals that fill up his day. They’re a very passionate couple so when things flare up, they tend to flare up in a big way. Everyone is worried that the relationship is now doomed.’

Show sources apparently insist that there’s nothing but dancing going on between Artem and Holly, who has been romantically involved with property magnate Nick Candy since 2009 and is said to be ‘besotted’ with him.

Tate That!

Celebland has seen its fair share of surprising love matches and now another one has popped out of the woodwork. The latest unlikely romance is the one between comedienne and actress Catherine Tate and Take That band member Jason Orange.

According to The Sun, the pair and have been enjoying a secret romance for the past few months. Despite their apparently desperate efforts to keep the blossoming romance under wraps, the cat’s most definitely out of the bag now and the tabloids are all over it.  Catherine and Jason have reportedly been on a string of dates since she split with stage manager Twig Clark.

The showbiz pair have been to see A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Stratford-upon-Avon, enjoyed several trips to the cinema, seen a show at the National Theatre and have also been spotted having dinner together at a Warwickshire restaurant, despite arriving separately to avoid attracting attention. A source told the Sun:
‘They were trying to keep things secret but looked very loved up and happy together.’ A friend revealed: ‘It’s an unlikely pairing but they have really hit it off.  Catherine deserves someone nice and she has landed on her feet with Jason. But they have both been desperate to keep their romance secret.’

There’s a funny twist to the tale of their romance. Catherine and Jason met properly in March whilst filming footage for a spoof sketch in aid of Comic Relief called Fake That. Catherine actually took the role of Jason, with James Cordon as Gary Barlow, Alan Car as Mark Owen, John Bishop as Robbie Williams and David Walliams as Howard Donald. They got on well during filming, stayed in touch and apparently started seeing each other romantically during the summer.

If they do end up staying together, it would certainly be a great tale to tell at the wedding reception!

Judgement Day

The X Factor judging panel has finally been announced after months of speculation. Fans can expect to see a very different set of faces this year. Apart from show stalwart Louis Walsh, who has managed to secure a space for another series. It would take a hurricane to move that man from his seat. This year’s X Factor will be his 8^th. Louis is the last original judge.

Cheryl and Dannii are out and Simon Cowell will not be on the panel. Three singers are set to take their places.

Louis Walsh has survived another year and will join Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos of N-Dubz.

Simon Cowell commented: ‘These four are totally up for it, each of them bring a different attitude. They have had a ton of hits between them and they are all committed to finding a star.’

The show has seen its fair share of fireworks between judges, and Simon hinted the trend is set to continue:

‘I have a feeling Louis and Tulisa will have slightly different points of view as to what the next star should look and sound like.’

Neither is afraid of piping up and giving an opinion, least of all Tulisa. The singer revealed: ‘I’m not going to be afraid to speak my mind and mix things up a little. It’s going to be great to get to know and work alongside the other judges. Let the fireworks begin!’

Meanwhile, Kelly Rowland has revealed the UK is one of her ‘favourite places in the world’ and that she’s looking forward to finding a ‘few diamonds in the rough.’

Then of course we have Take That singer and songwriter Gary Barlow. He’s racked up a few hits in his time and has revealed his determination to find the world’s next megastar. ‘My one goal is to find a global superstar. If I don’t find one, I won’t have done my job.’

The X Factor juggernaut will move into action on June 1^st. Auditions are being held in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Cardiff, London and Liverpool.

Kelly had better get her skates on if she wants to make the Birmingham auditions. The singer was papped sunbathing on Miami Beach on Monday. Obviously the former Destiny’s Child star doesn’t suffer from jet lag like the rest of us!

Big Brother Rides Again in August

The new series of Big Brother will apparently air on Channel 5 this September. It will be preceded by a celebrity version of the show in August.

You need to be over 18 and a UK resident to apply.

The format stays the same but the prize money has reportedly been increased. Instead of £100,000, hopefuls will compete to win a cool £500,000.

Contestants will say in the original BB house used by Channel 4. It will be revamped so fans can expect to see a few changes.

Channel 5 programme director Jeff Ford has said the network ‘will bring a completely fresh perspective to the Big Brother phenomenon and, by inviting people to apply for the show online, we hope to assemble the most entertaining and captivating house yet.’‘

The fresh format includes public face to face auditions. The eye logo will stay the same but we’ve heard the iconic theme tune will change.

The format isn’t the only thing set to change. Davina McCall has bowed out of her presenting role. The latest star to declare their interest in the coveted job is Emma Willis. The Big Brother’s Little Brother host has been tipped for the job and has already received the seal of approval from Davina.  She’s also rumoured to be taking over from Konnie Huq as The Xtra Factor presenter.

Prince Harry Warned Off Pippa

She was the bridesmaid who almost stole the show from her sister. When Pippa Middleton appeared at the Royal Wedding last Friday, she attracted tons of attention. That figure-hugging cream gown with the cowl neck ruffled a few feathers!

Word has it that Prince Harry fancied his chances with the gorgeous gal. According to the rumour mill, he spent a significant part of the wedding day flirting with her. He did look pleased as punch when he escorted Pippa up the aisle in Westminster Abbey. And he was all smiles standing beside her on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

If he has fallen for the charms of the other Miss Middleton, Harry may have to face disappointment. Or pull out all the stops to woo her.

According to reports online and in The Metro, Harry has been ‘warned off’ Pippa already. An eagle eyed ‘friend’ of the beautiful brunette has already thrown a spanner in the prince’s works.

Pippa is reportedly head over heels with current partner Alex Loudon. A former professional cricketer turned banker, Alex isn’t short of a penny or two. His blood is blue and he’s tall, dark and handsome.

The friend commented to The Daily Mirror:

‘He’s exactly Pippa’s type and I don’t think even a prince would be much competition.’ Faint heart never won fair lady!

In other Royal news, Kate is to take on the role of traditional RAF wife. The down to earth Duchess won’t be taking on her royal duties until 2013. She wants to spend time with her new hubby in their secluded Welsh home. Which, by the way, is a simple whitewashed cottage in Anglesey. Hardly a castle fit for a princess. But hey, whatever floats your boat, Kate!

Paddy interviewed Kate!

We met the beautiful Kate and had a quick chat with her over a cuppa. Obviously we used the best china for the occasion! Here she reveals all about her passion for Paddy Power bingo...

PP: Hi Kate. Lovely to have you here before the big day!

Kate: Thank you. Not a lot of people know this but I do love a bit of bingo and adore playing online. As you know, I can’t exactly nip down to the bingo hall whenever I want!

PP: Tell us, Kate. What’s your fave Paddy Power Bingo room?

Kate: Gosh, that’s a tough one. It’s a close call between the Sapphire Room and the Diamond Room. As you know, Wills popped the question with a diamond and sapphire ring. If pushed I’d have to say the Diamond Room is the winner.

PP: What’s been your favourite Hen Party Challenge so far?

Kate: Loving your work on the HPC! The response to the Royal Wedding has been overwhelming. It’s brilliant to see all my bingo roomies getting excited. My challenge of choice so far has been the Endurance Test. Plus it’s given me a great reason  to come and play bingo every day!

PP: How many golden tickets have you got so far?

Kate: I’ve managed two so far. However, I’m feeling pretty confident about winning my third by the end of this week. Obviously I’ll be a bit busy on the night of the 29^th! However, I’m not going to let Wills get in the way of my bingo! Even a prince has to know his place. I’m planning to pre-purchase a couple of extra tickets to the big game.

PP: What’s your favourite Paddy Power Bingo game of all time?

Kate: Deal or No Deal does it for me. It’s brought bingo into the 21^st century. In fact, it’s the game that got me hooked! DOND is a genius twist on the traditional 90-

ball game we all know and love. I also like to try my luck at the slots now and then.

PP: One last question. Which of the regular Paddy Power promotions do you like best?

Kate: I’ve always been a fan of the Fair for All games you do on Fridays. I’lI leave you with a little secret. Paddy’s Passion Wagon is my guilty pleasure!

Arnie to be Terminated?

Arnold Schwarzenegger may have played the Terminator in 3 blockbusters but will wife Maria Shriver terminate their marriage following his love child confession?

According to the tabloid and internet gossip, she’s in turmoil over ‘not knowing what to do next.’

The pair officially separated last month but their 25-year marriage has reportedly been on the rocks for years. They aren’t divorced yet. Is there still hope or will the latest revelation seal the deal? They are currently leading separate lives but Arnie has publicly commented that they ‘love each other very much’ and are ‘taking one day at a time.’

Maria and Arnie tied the knot back in 1986 and have 4 children together. However, whisperings of marital infidelity and even sexual harassment have popped up more than once. Now, the former governor of California has admitted to fathering an illegitimate child and keeping it secret for over 10 years.

What’s more, the mother of the child was one of the couple’s household staff. She was married at the time and claimed the child was her husband’s. She’s been employed by them for 20 years and only retired this January. Perhaps unsurprisingly, she’s refused to comment any further on the story.

That little nugget of information is rumoured to be the straw that broke the camel’s back and prompted the public separation announcement. The Los Angeles Times uncovered the story and Arnie confirmed it.

The former bodybuilder commented:

‘After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago,

There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologised to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.’

However his personal life pans out, Arnie’s professional acting career looks set for a revival. He’s planning to return to Hollywood and possibly make a 5^th Terminator movie.

Denise Back on the Bottle

Here’s a story you don’t hear every day – a TV star openly admitting to getting back ON the battle.

No, we’re not pulling your leg! Former Coronation Street star and Loose Women presenter Denise Welch has revealed that she’s made a decision to start drinking again.

However, the straight-talking star has made it crystal clear that she hasn’t got a problem with booze. In a brand new and brutally honest interview with Woman magazine, she revealed: ‘I didn’t fall off the wagon, I stepped off it.’

Her decision may strike some people as a pretty strange one. Denise’s well-documented battle with drink and drugs saw Corrie co-star Kevin Kennedy take her to Alcoholics Anonymous. In her book, Pulling Myself Together, the star told of drinking and snorting cocaine on the set of Corrie to help ease the pain of post natal depression. Since then, Denise has turned her life around with the help of hubby Tim Healy.

After such a tough fight, why has she decided to start drinking again after stopping completely?

Denise claims she made an informed choice to get back on the bottle and enjoys the odd tipple or two:

‘I drink at parties, I drink at awards dos, I drink when I am out with my mates and that’s when you get all the pap snaps of drunk Denise.

I am my own worst enemy because I play up to the image but people make assumptions about me that are so totally off the mark.’

However, she also admitted that it might be wise to tone down her behaviour from now on and wants some discipline in her life.

‘I don’t want to be the old drunk staggering around Soho House in 10 years’ time.’

Cole Sticks it to Cowell

Cheryl Cole may have had a humiliating experience with the US X Factor but it takes more than that to keep a Geordie gal down.

Suddenly it seems there’s no place for Cheryl on The X Factor whatsoever. Rumour has it her Geordie accent was the reason she was canned from the US version of the show. If reports about a TV executive for the US X Factor telling her to lose 2 stone and get a huge image makeover are true, she’s best off out of it!

The UK judging panel has now been announced and Cheryl is out in the cold.

According to The Mirror, Cheryl actually refused her old job on the UK panel. Producers are reportedly unconcerned, despite her popularity with viewers. An insider told the paper: ‘Six months from now, viewers will forget Cheryl. Simon offered her an olive branch to come back but she didn’t take it. Now it’s business as usual as far as he’s concerned.’

Despite rumours of being at ‘breaking point’ Cheryl has no shortage of offers for TV and film work. If the tabloids are to be believed, she’s holed up in a country retreat, sifting through the pile.

One job in particular may just tickle the singer’s fancy. The BBC are said to be keen to revamp its Saturday night offerings and give rival broadcaster ITV a run for their money.

The US talent show The Voice is moving to the BBC and Cheryl could be the star of the show. Her record company, Universal, is apparently involved in recruiting talent for the UK version of The Voice and is rumoured to approve of Cheryl changing channels.

In an interesting twist, Dannii Minogue has also been linked with the BBC’s forthcoming version of the voice. If the two singers both appear as coaches it would definitely be seen as a two-fingered salute to Simon Cowell.
