Gemix is a slot that operates unlike most conventional slot games. It doesn't operate with any fixed paylines on the reels. This means all you have to focus on is landing combinations of identical gems on adjacent reels and rows to try and bag a payout.

Gemix Symbols

There are eight different colourful gemstones in-play on the seven reels of Gemix. Each reel sees the gemstones fall from the top to fill the grid. The most lucrative gems to look out for are the heart and star-shaped gems. These are worth 500x and 1,000x payouts respectively when you find 15 in a cluster.

Whenever you lock in a cluster of matching symbols, all winning gemstones involved will disappear from the reels to be replaced with new gems from the rows above. This means it's possible to land multiple winning clusters from a single spin!

During any base game spin, if you are able to land a winning cluster of 20+ gems, you will activate the Crystal Charge feature. One of four reel modifiers will be triggered. The Nova Blast modifier explodes one gem and removes adjacent gems in the process; the Crystal Warp modifier selects one gem at random to warp these gems onto other base game symbols on the grid.

The Light Beam modifier will shoot rays of light at random symbols, transforming them into the chosen gem. Finally, the Chain Lightning modifier can choose two adjacent corner symbols, hitting other symbols with lightning and transforming them into one of the corner gems.

If you are lucky enough to get a cluster of 40+ matching gems, you'll trigger the Super Charge feature. This means any wins resulting from the four Crystal Charge reel modifiers have 3x multipliers attached!
